20/01/10 - Horse Training .org News - Georgia Bruce Teaching at the Australian Equine Behaviour Centre, VIC
From the 20th-23rd of January Georgia Bruce conducted clicker training lessons at the Australian Equine Behaviour Centre in Victoria. The Australian Equine Behaviour Centre is owned and run by Dr Andrew McLean and his wife Manuella McLean. The Australian Equine Behaviour Centre is one of the premier horse training centres in the world, especially for retraining problem horses.
Dr. Andrew McLean has a p.h.d in Equine Behaviour and Cognitive Function. He is one of the founding members of the International Society for Equitation Science as well as having written numerous papers on equine behaviour.
Over the three days 23 students learned how to apply clicker training with their horses and ponies. Resulting in many behaviour changes as well as fun games with horses rolling a ball to each other by pushing the ball with their nose.
Georgia is honoured to have been invited to teach clicker training at the AEBC.
