16/04/10 - Horse Training .org News - Georgia and Larundel Gameboy win Gold at the Suncorp North Qld Games

From the 11th - 14th of April the Suncorp North Queensland Games was held.
There were 80 different sports in the event including a Dressage competition that was held by the Atherton Tableland and District Dressage and Equestrian Association.

There was great attendance by riders from as far away as Townsville, at the event.

Georgia Bruce and Larundel Gameboy competed in the Open Elementary, The Official Elementary and the Official Medium tests. Georgia and Larundel Gameboy came home with two gold medals and a silver medal. This is a great lead up for their trip to the Selection Trials for the Para Equestrian Dressage World Equestrian Games Team. The selection trials will beld held in Toowoomba in June and then in Tamworth in July.

Georgia and Larundel Gameboy need to raise $65,000 if they are selected to represent Australia at the World Equestrian Games. If you or your company can help contribute towards Georgia's campaign please contact us.
